Important!! Lexington Oaks Reclaimed Water Update
Posted on Jan 18th, 2018 Comments (1)

In the current Florida legislative session, our House representative, Danny Burgess has filed HB4385 to obtain an appropriation of approximately 2.4 million dollars to fund the cost of retrofitting reclaimed water to over 1300 homes in Lexington Oaks. One of the requirements of getting the appropriation funding passed is to have a co-sponsor for the bill in the Florida Senate. This is where we need your help. If you are interested in obtaining state funding for reclaimed water, we need our citizens to contact the following Senators using the provided link to voice our support for Representative Burgess’ appropriation request:

Tom Lee (Our State Senator , Pasco, Hillsborough)  -     https://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/s20

Wilton Simpson (Senator-Pasco, Hernando, Citrus)   -  https://www.flsenate.gov/Senators/s10

These senators are critical to obtaining this critical funding. Without it, it would be extremely difficult to get this project off the ground. There are links on their pages that allow you to email them.

It would also be extremely helpful to send an email to the Speaker of the House Richard Corcoran at the following link:
